   Great article, helped me to fix my c000021a problem. I used a registry cleaner and it also made my computer much faster.

   I hate this error, always getting the c000021a error message, I’ll try the registry cleaner approach.

   I have an acer aspire one minilaptop and suddently I got this error (c000021a). The sympthoms were, that when I was trying to shutdown the laptop, it immediately restarted. I disabled the autorestart from windows xp, and then I saw the bsod.
   I tried the RegGenie approach and did not work.
   any other suggestion?

   Have you tried to perform a system restore?
   If not, Start your computer in safe mode, click Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore.

   Try to restore your computer to a date that problem didn’t happen.

   I did system restore to before 2 weeks and the c000021a fatal error disappeared.
