The Latest in Registry Cleaners – ErrorFix Fixes them All

Released in June, 2009, ErrorFix is one of the latest registry cleaning software that has made its way into the market. It is a basic piece of software that is standalone and therefore does not offer a large range of services that some of the other registry cleaners do. However, this very feature of the software makes it extremely simple to use. ErrorFix is a product that is a basic registry cleaner and does its job extremely well. The technology that ErrorFix uses is the leading technology that is being used for scanning and fixing registry errors that accumulate on a PC when you download and add or remove programs.

Features

While ErrorFix is a basic program, it does not imply that it is unreliable. Neither does it mean that it is not an efficient product. In fact, because the software is concentrating on one aspect of the task, it is a focused product, that offers great value in what it claims to do. The software works on various Windows platforms like Windows 98, ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Vista.

The back-up feature that ErrorFix has, allows you to undo any change that is made during scanning and repairing process, which you may not actually want to make.

Additional Features

One additional feature of ErrorFix that is fairly good is the custom scan that it allows. While this is something that not many people are aware of, using the system for a few days will let you understand how you can use the custom scan option. This option allows the PC user to scan specific locations so that the scan can be faster and more optimal in nature.

Unique Features that are appreciated

Some of the features that are appreciated by those who have been using ErrorFix for some time are related to the speed with which the software downloads. The entire package can be installed on your system within three minutes and therefore does not take too much of your time. The scanning speed is also extremely fast and in most cases the scanning is complete within 3 to 4 minutes.

The one thing that is not extremely optimal is that, in most cases, it can only fix about 95% of the errors that it detects. The software is also not a system optimizer and does not claim to optimize the PC.

Ease of Use

Given the fact that ErrorFix is not a software that tries to do multiple tasks at the same time, it is a specialized software and therefore extremely easy to use as well. The programmers have probably created this specialized software to scan and clean registry errors in the best possible manner.

Customer Support

ErrorFix is so easy to use that it does not really need an active customer support to handle issues like installation or use. However since all products need to have a customer support, ErrorFix software is also well supported by a team of engineers that can help you in case of a problem. The customer support, however, is not live.

Summary

ErrorFix is a basic, yet effective registry cleaning program and is one of the best to use for someone who wants to perform a simple registry cleaning job. It is also a great product for those who are not very tech savvy and would rather have a simple product than one that claims to do too many tasks at the same time.
