You don’t say how to fix this when the computer won’t even boot up because of the missing dll. What can I do? I don’t have an installation disc.

WOW, it worked, thanks, used a registry cleaner and it fixed my msvcv80.dll error.

I had this msvcr80.dll error whenever I used internet explorer for more than an hour. Luckily, I did system restore to a week before and is fixed it.
