Fixing the 0×8007232b error in Windows Vista

One solution to the 0×8007232b error is to install a Key Management Service (KMS) on your local network. This will make it possible to activate all of the computers on your network. However you will need to activate the computers again every six months if you choose this option.

It’s only possible to use a KMS if you have over 25 computers on your network which are running windows vista. Doing this will get rid of the 0×8007232b error.

Another Possible solution is using a MAK or Multiple Activation Key. This is a type of VLK or Volume license key. This works by connecting your computer to the Microsoft activation server. Once the computers are activated there’s no reason to do anything else.

To use this method to get rid of the 0×8007232b error you will first need to change the product key of your computers operating system to the MAK key and then activate the computer with this key.

Use a License Key

Another option of resolving the 0×8007232b error is to use the license key. A license key can be used to activate your windows computer if you have fewer than 25 computers in your network and you don’t have a MAK key.

Installing the license key is easy if you follow the steps below:

1. Visit the Microsoft eOpen site
2. Register for a Windows live ID, or login with your current ID
3. Enter the authorization number into the box
4. Enter your license number
5. Follow the instructions
6. Copy down the License Key displayed

Registering windows vista should help to resolve the 0×8007232b error. If not then the problem could also be caused by a virus or spyware infestation. You should install an updated virus scanner to check for possible problems.
